For all models, the frame has been raised (+1cm), while the seat height remains at 930mm. The Xtrig Flexfix handlebar clamps provide a vibration-damping block between the handlebars and the lower mount. Cooling has also been improved. In addition to the 200cc coolant expansion tank in the frame, the radiators have also been reinforced.
The 250cc two-stroke has undergone a series of updates to make its handling more similar to that of its bigger brother, the 300cc. This was achieved by using a common crankshaft, with a shorter stroke and a resulting larger bore compared to the previous model, to reach 250cc. The new engine is completed by an improved cylinder head and cylinder. The gearbox has been improved, with the second gear significantly improved to increase its usability. This has resulted in greater riding comfort and stability during and after shifting. This improved gearbox is also fitted to the X-PRO 300cc two-stroke.
